Mindful of the new Asus ROG Ares, a graphics card in very limited edition that comes to be the most powerful on the market. Or so says Asus, though of course, is partly right, as it takes the base of the ATi 5970 and evolves.
Within two cores find ATi 5870-850 MHz and 4 GB of GDDR5 memory at 1.2 GHz to come accompanied by a four-inch fan and a series of sinks specific to this model that are ready to cool the beast. According to Asus, we talk about six times more efficient cooling than the standard of his own 5970 original.
Asus ROG Ares is a limited edition of 1,000 units, and attention is now being sold in Spain at a price of 1,400 euros. It seems to be something like the Asus MARS 295 but under the manufacturer ATi, or in other words, a unique, limited almost exclusively to professional overclockers to be shown at fairs.
By the way, very interesting that Asus has opted for ATi for the development of the Ares Rog, rather than NVidia has shown some extremely powerful GPU. It is clear that there has been a great year of NVidia, but hopefully they are already preparing new products for the next academic year 2010-2011.
